Walk In Freezer Evaporator Fans Not Running

Insufficient refrigerant in system.

If your freezer has electronic controls instead of a dial a failed relay on the electronic control board or a bad control panel can prevent the compressor from getting power.
The condenser fan motor draws air through the condenser and over the condenser coils. Repair and add charge. A loud blowing sound from the motor doesn t mean it s bad either. If the condenser fan is not running check the fan blades for obstructions.
Let s check the wiring first. The freezer light should turn off and the evaporator fan should kick on after a few seconds. See corrective steps for low suction pressure. Not running if the freezer has electrical power the inside light turns on but the compressor won t run a failed cold control thermostat could be the problem.
If the fan blades do not spin freely the fan motor bearings are worn out and the fan motor should be replaced.
